Masonic Center located at 306 So. 134th
St. is proud to announce the completion of a banquet hall addition.
The members of Parkland-Lakewood Masonic Lodge have been working
hard for 2 years and the work has paid off. Dryer Masonic
Center was named after the late Travers Dryer who was one of the
charter members of Parkland Lodge and who donated the land to
the Masons around 40 years ago.
The
building is now the home of the Parkland-Spanaway Masonic community,
including 2 Masonic lodges (Parkland-Lakewood Lodge and Spanaway
Lodge), 2 Eastern Star Chapters (Faith and Acacia), Mt. View Amaranth
Court, 2 youth groups: Friendship Chapter-DeMolay and Faith
Assembly Rainbow for Girls and several other Masonic groups.
The
new banquet facility is beautiful and will seat 200 for a dinner
and 300 for a reception. The entire building was renovated
and looks great. The building is available for rent, call
253-537-9928 to schedule your special event. We are available
for weddings, parties, banquets, receptions, lunch, dinner, a
bazaar or training session. The center has hired Betty Brown
to be its building manager. She is available to show you
the facilities and to schedule your event. Mrs. Brown hopes
to make the building available for local meetings and community
gatherings.
