CENTRAL PIERCE RECEIVES $5,000 GRANT
Central Pierce Fire & Rescue received $5,000 in grant money from the
Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation this month. The
grant money will be used to purchase smoke alarms with 10-year lithium
batteries.
The smoke alarms will
be used to continue the department's free smoke alarm program. Free smoke
alarms are provided to low-income families and the elderly. The smoke
alarms are installed for recipients by firefighters

If you are in need of a smoke
alarm (if you can't afford one or are unable to install one yourself),
