CENTRAL PIERCE RECEIVES $5,000 GRANT
Central Pierce Fire & Rescue received $5,000 in grant money from the Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation this month. The grant money will be used to purchase smoke alarms with 10-year lithium batteries.

The smoke alarms will be used to continue the department's free smoke alarm program. Free smoke alarms are provided to low-income families and the elderly. The smoke alarms are installed for recipients by firefighters

FREE SMOKE ALARMS

If you are in need of a smoke alarm (if you can't afford one or are unable to install one yourself), call us. We will visit your home and install it for you at no cost. Call us at (253) 538-6400.
